Nigredo represents the first state of matter before its transformation. Term coming from Latin and used by ancient alchemists in their search for the philosopher's stone. This state corresponds to putrefaction and decomposition. In psychology it can mean facing the shadow. The materials I use represent change, tree leaves that will degrade and transform into organic matter, to give way to new natural cycles.
